Thanks for taking the time to leave this comment. I have to agree, it seems that the American voter gives an easy pass to Christians, and even Catholics now don't get the scrutiny they did. People forget that JFK was considered a tough win because he was Catholic, but I guess that's Christian enough these days.

I just wanted to take the time out to thank you for your thoughts on a Mormon Presidential candidate. As a Mormon myself, I don't understand why these candidates religion is the first thing that comes about when anyone talks of them. You don't hear about the others religions!
I think that people think that the LDS (Mormon)religion is odd because they don't understand it. The only thing they know about it, is that at one time we practiced Polygamy and people find this faux pax even today with all the different sexual relations that have come about. Thing is most people don't know that polygamy hasn't been practiced in the religion for over 150 years!
I'd love to go on and on how I feel about this, but I'll have to save it for the forums. Thanks again for bringing up this topic.
